For more than thirty years Max has been operating at the intersection between objects and ideas. Things that people make are reflections of their inner worlds, which in turn, shape them and human existence in profound and poignant ways. The insights gained through this research have shaped Max’s passionate involvement with museums, expressive cultures, and collections, which he uses as a springboard for sharing his knowledge through teaching, consulting, and curating. Explore with Max the exciting field of world arts, and the multiple engagements that anthropology has with artefacts, artists, and the institutions that represent them.
